Cornwall’s seas are the jewel in our crown; home to huge basking sharks, dolphins, seals and a rich wealth of beautiful creatures. We also have incredible underwater landscapes including rocky reefs, kelp forests and coral gardens.

The Living Seas Project is part of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust. The team work to protect our incredible marine wildlife through surveying and monitoring our seas and campaigning for better protection. They work with the fishing industry to encourage sustainability and the Cornwall Wildlife Trust also supports a huge network of local marine groups who carry out beach cleans. recording wildlife and working to conserve their patch.

With every bottle sold from our ‘The Deep’ range, a donation of 5p is made to Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Living Seas programme. In 2019, we are pleased to announce that we raised £650 selling a combined total of 13,000 bottles of The Deep Pinot Grigio, Zinfandel Rosé and Merlot.

Matt Slater, CWT Marine Officer said “Donations made from sales of The Deep wines have made a real difference to our work protecting this amazing marine environment. Cornwall’s seas are inspiring and wild but they are under threat from plastic pollution, climate change and unsustainable fishing”.
